I'm Andrew Kim, a software engineer who specializes in autonomous vehicle.
Embedded System | Robotics | Machine Learning
I'm very passionate about Machine Learning and Deep Learning with robotics, especially autonomous vehicle (self-driving cars). I like working with ideas, solving-problems, and cooperating with Software Engineering and Embedded-System Engineering team to advance self-driving technology for our generation and next generation. Currently, I'm doing advanced autonomous Vehicles projects such as classifying traffic lights, sensor for detecting an object, and so on with deep learning and machine learning. My career goal becomes a self-driving engineer and autonomous System researcher to innovate new generation transportation technology in the future.
My hobby is working out at the gym or playing tennis with my friends. I also play video games such as tactical game: League of Legends or Starcraft2 and watch Youtube videos at my leisure. Furthermore, I like traveling to everywhere to meet a new experience. My favorite destination is Montreal in Canada because I get inspired about archaic buildings, especially, in Old Montreal street.

Developed a search engine from the dataset with AWS development tools (Python, Bash) on Ubuntu environment for the purpose of research analysis

Complete Responsive Web Design
From the middle of June, I have rebuilt my personal website. I had my simple personal website, but it seemed unsatisfactory for me that this website is unattractive. In the end, I decided to remake my portfolio website by means of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Eventually, I complete and host the website. Nonetheless, I would keep improving my website design and develop more better website by myself.
Take the first step toward Autonomous Vehicle career
On June 22nd, I finally got a nanodegree about Intro to Self-Driving Car Program from Udacity. I experienced how to program self-driving car system from the scratch with several projects. Through the learning, I feel that I move forward to drawing my dream. From now on, I need to challenge more advanced projects.
Graduated from the UT Austin
Today, I got BS Mathematics degree with Elements of Computing(Computer Science minor) from the UT Austin graduate ceremony. I learnt a lot of not only knowledge, but also reflected myself how to pioneer my life. Even though I failed a lot of challenges and achieve what I want to do on time, I could know myself more and what I should do.
